🛡️ Defense Against Network Threat Exploits
Controlled Internal Security Drill

Whew! Don't Panic — You Haven't Been Hacked.

This was a safe internal training drill. If this had been an actual cyber attack, signing in or entering information on an untrusted website could have compromised your corporate accounts.

🛡️
The #1 Rule of Web Safety

Verify Out-of-Band Before Submitting

Before entering details or signing into websites outside artistsink.org, always double-check with the sender through an independent channel to confirm they sent the link on purpose.

💬 Direct text message to cell 📞 Quick phone call 👥 Ask face-to-face across the office
⚠️ Never just click "Reply" to the email! If the sender's account was spoofed, replying communicates directly with the attacker who will simply tell you it's real.
💡
Important Pro-Tip

Most RSVPs Never Require Google Sign-In

Real event invitations (birthdays, catered lunches, weddings, team socials) almost never require you to sign in with your Google or work account just to RSVP.

🚨 The Red Flag: If a simple party RSVP demands you log in with Google to "unlock the venue" or "confirm attendance", it is almost certainly a credential-harvesting trap trying to steal your account access.
Action: If an RSVP prompts for Google or corporate credentials, stop immediately and send the host a quick text.
